After the LONG weekend

This weekend was a good one for me in the training department...
I trained Saturday, Sunday and Monday..
Saturday and Monday I ran and Saturday I did an hours Kettlebell workout.
But..that is as far as me being good went.
My eating went out of the window...well it sure felt like that to me after being on the 17DD and being without carbs and wine.
I had All bran for breakfast, I had a roll or two for lunch and dinner time, I even drank a few glasses of dry red wine with meals.....
I did have a few blocks of dark chocolate....chocolate ice cream......
Today I'm struggling to get back on plan again.....but as I am very aware of how I am currently feeling I know I won't allow it to continue for too long.

One thing I noticed, by eating more protein and less carbs ~ you are not as hungry!!!
There's something about the 17DD plan that makes me want to return...I didn't crave for anything sweet and now am wanting to eat and eat...SWEET!

Next week Monday my hubby is going to be doing the 17 DD ~ I am going to do it with him!!
I will do Phase 2 while he starts at Phase 1

  4. Look at those shoulders! You look fantastic Marcy!

That's great that H. is joining you, makes it much easier for you too to follow to plan because you're both on it.

It was Eastern, you deserved a glass of wine, a little more bread and some chocolate.

Also, don't be so hard on yourself, mistakes come and go, but your effort and determination defines who you are, my friend :)

  6. Beautiful picture! Love how your upper arm and shoulder look! Yes, more carbs more hunger. Unfortunate, but very true.

  7. I agree with you - eating processed carbs makes you want to eat more of them...it is a vicious circle!
I went a little crazy with wine and Easter chocolate too, so now it is back to being reasonable and keeping tabs on what I am eating.

  8. Your gorgeous! I so agree! The more sugary carbs I eat the more I want them and its a never ending circle. The hard part is saying "NO" all the time to them.

  9. First off I really love the picture. Second I have been craving the sweets way to much. Chris leaves tomorrow for 2 weeks so I am going to start the kettlebell workout and I think I may start running at least 3-4 times a week now that it is warmer. Just the wind is so bad. I want to see if he notices a difference in the 2 weeks without me telling him.

I've been meaning to ask you, what do you use to calculate your calories burned?
