Day Five ~ 17 Days

Breakfast

Sardine in Olive Oil
Salad ~ Lettuce, tomato, Red peppers, Cucumber

Apple with FlatTsp Organic Peanut butter

Dinner
Chicken Breast cooked with mushrooms, red pepper and onion
Mashed cauliflower
3 tsp of Blueberry flavor organic quark

Hubby came back from two weeks in Russia last night and brought me this beautiful gift.
Training

Yesterday was my first full day off in over 3 weeks....was tough not training, but I did it.

What I ate that is not in cycle one

Peanut butter
Atkins protein bar
Quark
All are protein so I'm not that bothered

Weight

It's coming down.....each day I lose a little more...
1.8kgs ( 4 lbs ) away from the weight I would like to be, my first goal and we are on day 6 of the 17 days.

Day Four ~ 17 days

Breakfast
Warm freshly squeezed lemon water
Greek Yogurt with handful of Blueberries
Green Tea
Coffee

Snack
Atkins Protein Bar

Lunch
2 scrambled eggs
sprinkle of cheese
Apple
Dinner
Smoke Salmon Salad
Green Tea
Snack
1/2 Tub Greek yogurt
1 tsp of Organic peanut butter
Bedtime tea

Trained
30 mins skipping with rope
30 mins plank and sit up abs
50 mins Indoor cycle
1 hour Kettlebell ( taught a class )

Yesterday afternoon I was so bored and when I get bored I head to the kitchen. So instead of following old patterns I decided to watch Oprah and cycle...it really helped. Afterwards I felt so much better.
I still have no sugar or carbs cravings :)
My energy levels are good...:)
I ate two things not in cycle one ~
Atkins Protein bar and 1 tsp of Organic peanut butter, both protein

Day Three ~ 17 Days


Breakfast

Left over chicken cooked with onion and mushrooms and veggies
Green Tea
Snack
Half Tub Greek yogurt
One Golden Kiwi
Coffee
Dinner
Fish
One hard boiled egg
Salad
Green Tea

At about 8pm I had the other half of the Greek Yogurt...
With a tsp of Organic peanut butter ( not on program )
Bedtime tea

I *spring cleaned* my home from top to bottom ~ took over 3 hours....while cleaning, with moving furniture and carrying carpet cleaner up all the stairs as we have 4 floors that need cleaning, I did think I would have proffered to have done one hour of working out instead of this....its really tough. I give my house a good clean once a month, the rest of the time I keep it clean and tidy....
Last night before bath and bed I did 25 mins of Abs....today I feel it as each time I add something different.

I was happy I was hungry for lunch yesterday as the first two days I was not hungry so didnt have.
I did add 1tsp of organic peanut butter to my one snack which is not part of the program, but its not a train smash for my goals with being at goal weight.

My energy levels are still up....
Am not craving for sugar or carbs ~ this is what really surprises me about this program...

Day Two ~ 17 Days

Breakfast
Warm lemon water
Two hard boiled eggs
Apple
Green Tea


Snack
Activia yogurt
1 Tsp Flaxseed
Handful blueberries
Green Vanilla Tea
I was not hungry at lunch time, could not face eating a meal so had a handful of nuts, which is not on Cycle one....

Snack
1/2 Tub Greek yogurt
Blueberries
Dinner
Chicken cooked with mushrooms and onions
Cauliflower and Broccoli
Training
30 mins indoor cycling
30 mins of Triceps, Biceps and Shoulders
20 mins of Abs
Taught one hour aerobic/Dance class with toning and stretch

Mistakes I made
I was not hungry at lunch time so for the 2nd day in a row I didn't eat breakfast.
The handful of nuts I ate is not in cycle ONE, but does come later. Personally not going to worry too much about eating the nuts as I'm at goal weight, but wanting to do the 17 Days again to get my eating back under control as in June and part of July I ate without tracking or watching portion control...this is to get me back on track.

I had lots of energy and never felt hungry....BONUS!!

Day one ~ 17 Days

I was my doubts about starting this program again...I did it the first time, but would I be able to do it 2nd time round?......Well I'm still wondering, as its early days.. remaining positive as I know at the end of the 17 days I will be happy with the results and after taking full body shots for my online group yesterday, I can see how my body fat has increased, even with my weight remaining in my maintaining range. That is enough to motivate me to do this cycle again and then to stay on track. Last month was the first month in over two years that I started eating foods without tracking and portion control...One lesson I've learned is..
THIS JOURNEY HAS NO ENDING.....you can never sit back and say I'M DONE.....
I knew this, but June was a good reminder of this for me.

On waking
As I had no fresh lemon with being away last week, I had hot water with fresh lemon juice.
I found this Green Tea at the America Base where Sarah lives...it has a great taste...
I can find Yogi Tea in Germany but not this flavor...but will ask around and see, or else Sarah said she will post me a few boxes from time to time. I only ended up having one cup of tea yesterday..
Breakfast
2 eggs scrambled
Cooked mushrooms and one tomato
Snack
1/2 Tub Greek yogurt
1 Gold Kiwi

I had a nail appointment after my snack...
Had a cup of coffee there
Went and did grocery shopping
Got home and it was too close to dinner time, so finished the other half of the Greek yogurt with a handful of Blueberries
As I was running at 7pm, I ate my dinner at 6pm, Tuna salad
Could only eat half of this meal...so put it aside and ate the rest after my run
Training for the day

I skipped with a rope for 25 mins to warm up and cardio
Did one hour of total body Kettlebell
Ran 7.77km with my neighbor

My mood
I was really surprised to see I was not hungry, besides a period between my two snacks as it was lunch time and I was out having a pedicure and then shopping....I was not tempted to grab anything on the go as I am totally dedicated to the next 17 days with a group of ladies on my online group who are doing this with me.
I do remember from doing this program before that having protein for breakfast kept me fuller for longer and also that I was not hungry on this program...
My mood was good yesterday :)

Mistakes
The mistake I made was to not have lunch
That I only drank two cups of Green tea and not 3
That I had Blueberries after 3pm

After doing my shopping yesterday, I'm better prepared for Day 2.

Day 1 of 17 Days Eating Plan



Today is Day ONE on the 17 Day Diet
I'm doing this for the 2nd time as I got such great results the first time
Then for June and part of July, due to visitors, my birthday and a short break away
I have eaten everything but not in moderation....
Eating this way became the norm ~ so time to pull in the reins and get back to my Clean Eating lifestyle.
I need a stricter plan, which this is.

I will post my menu tomorrow
But so far...I've trained

I did 25 mins of skipping with a skipping rope for cardio
Then one hour of all over Kettlebell.

Later this afternoon I'm off for a pedicure, which I'm really looking forward to as I'm developing RUNNERS feet!

My weight is 62kg's ( 136.7 lbs )
My aim is to lose 2kg's ( 4.4 lbs )

Due to my bad eating habits for the last month and a half I have developed body fat over my belly area, so my main aim is to get it off again.
I don't enjoy my current jelly belly!!
