Starting weight ~ 63.5 kg's ( 140 lbs )
Today ~ 61.9kg's ( 136.5 lbs )
My goal weigh was 62 kg's _ so reached that within 11 days.
My jeans that were fitting * tightly * in January, are now loose
I have lost a lot of cm on this plan...compared to kg's ( lbs )
Going without sugar has flatten my abs a lot and of course doing the Kettlebell workout.
I swear in one month of doing Kettlebell, my abs have tightened ( the skin, nothing can tighten )
:(
But hey, I accept that I'm 49 in June, a mother of 3 children, a grandmother and in menopause!!!
So for all of that I'm very happy with their look.
I see many girls, in their 20's, 30's who have not had children and have flabby, plump tummy's
So I'm grateful for what I have....
My abs are looking so much better now compared to 2 years ago when I weight 84kg's ( 185.2 lbs )
I remember back during those days how I struggled with doing a simple thing like pulling my underwear on. My legs moved to the side otherwise the roll on my stomach would make lifting my leg up harder to do. I remember wearing those * pull me in tightly * underwear to try make my growing stomach look flatter....When I looked in the mirror I saw this menopausal woman's middle looking back at me and told myself, YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT YOU ARE GETTING OLDER...all older women get stomachs...But something within me could not accept that having a stomach was the way it had to be once you reached 45....I have seen women that age and older in magazine, looking amazing and I knew if they could do it, so could I...and so the work began.
I am will be taking a photo of my abs in a months time to see if there is an improvement, with another month of Kettlebell....Already the muscle is much hard and the sides are more defined...
Flabby, plump tummy is present! :) I have one.
ReplyDeleteMarcy promise me that now you've reached your goal weight (which is fantastic, congrats), you leave it to that. Girl you look fabulous, a lot of people would give anything for abs like that.
Be proud of what you've achieved and how you look because (again) you look fantastic!
Holy cow girl, your abs are to die for gorgeous!!! So feminine looking and beautiful! I'm so impressed and motivated by you, you have no idea!!!

Marcy, your middle looks fantastic (as well as the rest of you)! I am totally amazed with how great your abs look. Just WOW!
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous - you look AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteYOU.LOOK.INCREDIBLE! But the best part about it is that you DID THAT.. you created what you look like... its the result of all the hard work and what you've done to feed your body. You really deserve those abs of steel!
ReplyDelete..and if you didn't take a second pic with your head on it, I would not have believed those were your abs! :)
WOW Marcelle, look at your abs. You look so good lady!!!
ReplyDeleteIncredible! I can only hope that maybe one day!! Your before pictures remind me so much of where I am today! You look great but I know a lot of hard work has gone into getting where you are. You should be so proud of yourself!
ReplyDeleteMarcelle, you look great! And you are so right to be proud of all your hard work - congratulations and well done! You give me hope (at age 44) that it doesn't have to be a downhill slide but rather an uphill battle that we can win! Thanks for being such an inspiration and for sharing your journey.
ReplyDeleteMarcelle you look fantastic!!!! I know all to well about that same skin! Your muscles and sides look totally awesome!
ReplyDeleteI too have seen a huge difference in my abs and arms since lifting the last few weeks. I can't wait to see what it will be like in a few more!
I love the photos and I am going to ask Chris to download a video for me to use for the kettlebell if he can find one tonight. Need to pick it up again. I figure 30 min. a day is better then nothing.
