Day 4 of the NO chocolate Challenge and all is going well....
I stayed away from the chocolate isle when doing my grocery shopping yesterday, as I didn't want to hear my name being called.....:)
Its been a little crazy this side.....We've having a long weekend in Germany, so my hubby has been home Thursday, Friday and this weekend...which means my routine is totally our at the moment. I've not done the weeks washing nor ironing...I changed the towels a day later than usual but have been getting out, away from the computer a lot more. So blogging has been neglected, as has reading blogs...but today tried to catch up a little.
Training wise... Hubby and I ran a 10 km on Thursday morning....Friday I took the day off...Today I ran a 7km with my neighbors and tomorrow we planning to run between 12 and 14km...see which route we take, but will not be less than 12 as last Sunday we did 11km.
I've been doing Kettlebell most days, besides Friday my off day....even if only 30 mins of upper body...I believe some toning is better than NO toning.
Eating wise all has been OK....not 100% but as I am maintaining its not a train smash to keep to a ridged program with my eating for now....should I gain...then it starts again...and I mean a 2 pound gain would get me back to watch everything that goes into my mouth.
Last night we went out for dinner at friends, I had one glass of champagne, one glass of Red wine...Steamed Salmon, Roast Veggies, Salad, strawberries with scoop of ice cream, coffee and one slice of cake....
Was really tasty and I enjoyed.
This morning my stomach disagreed with what I'd eaten....can tell I'm no longer used to eating so much in one sitting and also the variations of different foods.
Hi Marcy, thanks for leaving me such sweet comments on my blog. They are much appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteSeems like you've been having some great runs and kettlebell exercises lately. You are rocking it!
Glad your stomach had settled. It does sound like a yummy dinner. Just thinking of it, it doesn't seem like too much food, but when I really consider it, for those of us who watch what we eat and eat clean, it is quite a lot of food for one sitting. Anyway, as I said, glad you are feeling better.
Enjoy your run tomorrow and the rest of your weekend :)
I love seeing that you are more relaxed when going out from when we first started talking. Makes me happy!Glad to hear that you are feeling better! I also ate something last night at the bbq & even after our 11pm dog walk I still fell blah today.
ReplyDeleteThe dinner sounds delicious, except for salmon which I don't like.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great relaxing weekend.
I think it is great that you can maintain now and doing such a good job with it as well. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how upset the stomach was with all that food.
