When we start getting into fitness, our bodies gain weight period.<br /><br />I have gained 10 pounds since losing my weight, but still am in my size 10 pants and love what I look like in the mirror. <br /><br />I will take my strength that I've gained and the confidence I've gained over the number of the scale! Yes, I prefer the lower number, but its not worth the sacrifice of good lean muscle.<br /><br />I've written about this too, a lot. Though I know all too well how hard it is not to get stuck on the numbers.<br /><br />And don't worry too much about a little lack of motivation. You normally kill your workouts and sometimes we go through lulls. It'll come back to you. I know you'll never let it go again completely. The fire will reignite again soon. I wonder sometimes if our bodies need that little break once in a while. As long as you are aware of it. I often have the same kind of depression when coming back from a visit "back home".
